When is the conference?
March 14-16, 2010. Registration opens on Sunday, March 14 at the W Hotel in Downtown Seattle. The Conference seminars end at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 16. Immediately following the last seminar, we begin the Yarn Shop Crawl
How much is the registration fee?
Early Bird ticket (through February 12, 2010): $875
Regular ticket (after February 12, 2010): $975
Group tickets: When you register another attendee from your company, registration fees drop 10% for everyone in your group.
Yarn Shop Crawl Ticket: $15*
*Due to space limitations, you must be a registered attendee or accompany a registered attendee as a guest to participate in the Yarn Shop Crawl.
What does the registration fee include?
Early bird and regular registration fee includes:
- All sessions, including your choice of a break-out session
- Continental breakfasts (Monday & Tuesday)
- Luncheons (Monday & Tuesday)
- Opening cocktail party (Sunday)
- Gala dinner party, cocktail hour and keynote address (Monday)
- Ongoing refreshments
- VIP Gift Bag from Namaste filled with various product samples and exclusive vendor specials.
The Yarn Shop Crawl is an additional $15 and includes bus ticket and entry into all yarn stores, including any special refreshments or discounts provided to ticket holders. The Yarn Shop Crawl ticket is fully refundable until March 10, 2010. Please see below for more details about the Yarn Shop Crawl.
How long is the Yarn Shop Crawl?
The Yarn Shop Crawl begins on Tuesday afternoon and will leave from the W Hotel. We anticipate ending at around 6:30 P.M.; however, due to traffic and other unknown factors, we cannot guarantee that we will be back at the hotel at 6:30 P.M. If your travel plans include leaving on Tuesday evening, we suggest bringing your luggage on the crawl (storing it in the luggage compartments below the bus) and taking a taxi/car service directly from the store to your airport. Unfortunately, YMN cannot set up the taxi/car service for you.
What is the Yarn Shop Crawl schedule?
The schedule is currently being finalized, but will include stores/studios in the Seattle area.

Will there be any scholarships?
Yes, there will be a scholarship program announced soon. Please make sure you sign up for the YMN e-newsletters through the the subscription page on our website to be notified via email of the scholarship. If you are a recipient of a scholarship and you've already purchased your registration, you'll be promptly reimbursed in the manner by which you paid (credit card, cash or check).
Will I receive any materials before the conference?
We will not mail materials or name badges to conference attendees. Please check in at the registration table on the Sunday, March 14 to pick up your name badge, registration packet and VIP Gift Bag.
How do I become a sponsor or donate items for the VIP Gift Bag?

What is the cancellation policy?
- Full refund minus a $25 cancellation charge will be applied for all cancellations received in writing on or before December 30, 2009
- Full refund minus a $350 cancellation charge for any cancellations received in writing between December 31- February 15, 2010
- No refunds for any cancellations after February 15, 2010
- Cancellations cannot be completed via phone. All cancellations must be submitted via email or in writing to:
